Relaxation Stress Reduction

Written by admin on August 28, 2009

I have a question for all of my loyal readers. What do you all think about relaxation stress reduction? It’s something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time.

Ever since I was younger, I’ve always had elevated levels of stress. I don’t really know why, and it’s nothing you can really see on the outside but it ends up really bothering me on the inside. I start stressing really bad and then I start having trouble breathing, concentrating, and pretty much doing anything of real value. It just knocks me on my butt. I’ve went to the doctor before and it really doesn’t help, so, I’ve been thinking about going with a different method and I think using the relaxation stress reduction method might really be beneficial for me. The Stress Institute is a great company that I learned about through a friend of mine who had a similar condition and she told me it really helped her out, so, I think it’s something I’m going to look into. It’s funny because nobody can see the effects of the condition on the outside, but, on the inside it’s tearing me apart. Hard time breathing…blood pressure…possible heart attack? It’s not something to goof around with, you know?

Blue Bombers Pull It Out

Written by admin on August 28, 2009

Wow – did anybody get a chance to watch the Chula Vista Park View Little League All-Star game last night? That…was impressive. I was really worried for a while, that Georgia team was amazing. But, once we got into the bottom of the 6th I knew they were going to take it. And that shot by Luke Rameriez was something you’d see in a Major League game! Holy crap that thing went into the sky.

A great job by all! They take on the boys from San Antone tomorrow afternoon at 12, so make sure you watch. Game will be on your local ABC channel.

Looking for some Virtual Servers

Written by admin on August 27, 2009

So, as many of you know, I do a lot of work from home and that includes doing stuff for clients. So, it’s important that I always have their hosting needs met, etc. However, recently I’ve become pretty unhappy with some of the companies that I’ve been using. Many times the websites go down or have extremely long load times and while that’s frustrating for myself, that’s potential business loss for my customers and then that becomes loss for me…so I simply can’t have it. I’ve been looking for some dedicated hosts and I recently came across OzHosting.com which looks really impressive. I’ve looked around for some reviews on them and they’ve all been wonderful and talked highly of them. They offer some serious Virtual Servers and dedicated hosting which is something I really need. And the prices are really cheap compared to competing companies which is really nice. With the Virtual Servers there is now the benefit of both shared hosting and dedicated hosting which a lot of companies can’t offer, so that says a lot to me. I also just noticed as well that they’re offering a promo code which takes 25% off of all VPS plans which is a freakin steal!! Very much worth it. If you’re interested, the promo code is “VPS25″ without the quotes.

Calling Card For Overseas

Written by admin on August 27, 2009

With one of my best buddies from high school in the military,  I’ve been trying to think of a way to contact him a little quicker than the typical letters. It’s his birthday coming up soon, so, I’ve been wanting to give him a call but the prices are crazy for global long distance. So, I’ve been looking at calling cards as they look like the best alternative. I think it’ll be nice not only for him to hear my voice, but, I think it’ll be a moral boost. His mother and I ran into each other a few days back and she said he was having such a difficult time over there, so, I think buying a calling card so we can talk will be a huge boost for him.

Any Smart Bloggers Out There?

Written by admin on August 25, 2009

That would be so kind to tell me how to remove that silly video on the side of the page, towards the bottom? Well, actually it’s just a graphic…not a video but it’s annoying me since it has nothing to do with this site. It just came with the template, but, it’s nearly impossible to remove! Help!!!! lol

CDC Says 90,000 Americans Could Die From Swine Flu?

Written by admin on August 25, 2009

Wow – don’t attempt to scare us or anything, CDC.

I didn’t watch the video…I just saw the little headline on Yahoo’s front page, but, they tend to do this all the time…they freak people out and I don’ t know why. There is no need for it. Yes, it’s a good thing to make people aware but the scare tactics are just dirty. If people would just take the normal procautions, you know, wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, we’d be doing a lot better.

I guess maybe it’s the germ-phobe in me that just doesn’t want to touch anything when I go out shopping that doesn’t make me feel so panicked. lol

Anybody See The Giant Squids?

Written by admin on August 24, 2009

Beachgoers in La Jolla may have thought they were in a horror movie this morning.

First came a rumble, and then giant sea urchins invaded the beach, at least so says the Union Tribune. I didn’t really feel much. lol

The rumble came from a magnitude 4.0 earthquake that struck at 7:34 a.m. and was centered 19 miles west of La Jolla in the ocean. After it struck though, a TON of 4-5 foot giant squid started coming up onto the beaches. They said that people were helping drag them out to sea again, but omg – how crazy is that?!

I’ve seen some wild stuff come up on the shore here, but, I’ve never seen anything like that!

I Hate Gas. Seriously. Haha

Written by admin on August 22, 2009

Okay, I try not to complain too much, but the gas prices here are getting to be absurd! I know I live in a “tourist” area and it’s summer time, but, my goodness. Almost $4.00 bucks for a single gallon of gas!?!? Can we just have “tourist” gas stations and local gas stations?!!??! haha

I’m going to go broke cause of the freakin gas prices. Ugh.
