You Can Put Away The Parka….For Now

Written by admin on April 30, 2010

A wet and cool April ends and May begins with sunny skies and a slow, slight warming trend.

High pressure building to the west should keep the weather pleasant through Tuesday. A flow out of the northwest will prevent temperatures from rising too much, but highs at the coast should still reach the mid-60s today, then climb a couple of degrees Saturday and Sunday. The inland valleys are expected to be near 70 today and Saturday, and in the low 70s Sunday. Low clouds could creep back at the beaches late Saturday.

Monday should be the warmest day, with the coast nearing 70 and the inland valleys hitting the mid-70s. No rain is in the forecast through late next week, but cooler conditions and deep marine layer are expected to develop Wednesday.

Beach weather baby! See you all there!
