Don’t set a fire for the time being, even if state fire officials had issued a permit to do so.
With thin resources and hot, dry weather Friday, officials temporarily suspended any permission to light controlled or prescribed burns in the unincorporated areas of San Diego County, according to CalFire, or the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
There is a chance that burning privileges might be restored within a few days
