Fire At Stater Brother’s Grocery Store

A two-alarm fire broke out in the deli at a Stater Bros. grocery store Sunday evening, but no injuries were reported, an emergency dispatcher said.
About 7:15 p.m., an alarm company for the store at 3770 Mission Ave. and an employee both reported the fire, a NorthComm dispatcher said.
When firefighters arrived and saw the fire, they requested more trucks for help, the dispatcher said.
The blaze was under control about 7:45 p.m. I actually saw the smoke from my house….which is really odd since I was just over there about 15-20 minutes earlier. I guess I got out in time! lol
