Friend Needs A Lawyer

You know, I love my friends – a lot. But sometimes, they do the most stupid of things. Like this morning for instance. About 4 am, my cell phone starts ringing. I’m thinking it has to be a wrong number, but, I roll over to the side of the bed and look – cause hey, you never know. Anyway, I look and I see my friends name pop up on the screen. He says he can’t talk long, but, he’s in the county jail and needs me to tell his parents and to look into Federal Criminal Lawyers. Now, you try being hit with this news when you’ve just woken up.Of course, as soon as I hang up I go hop on the net and look for those lawyers and I just finished up calling his parents and passing along the info, but man – what a start to your Saturday morning! haha

Retirement In Florida

Yeah, I’m still pretty young so I’ve got a while until I retire, but, it’s never too early to think about it – right?! Anyway, it’s been something on my mind lately and I’ve been trying to think about where I actually want to retire, when the time comes. At first, my idea was Arizona but after looking into it I’ve changed my mind. I’ve come to the conclusion that Florida is going to be my ideal place. The problem however, is I know little about the areas in Florida so I guess I need to look for the best places to retire in Florida. Off my initial reaction, I think I’d want to avoid the Orlando area as it has a lot of tourists and theme parks – I’m thinking more of the Tampa area. It has the luxury of water access but at the same time, it’s not so touristy like Daytona Beach or Orlando and that’s what I’d be looking for at that stage of my life. I can’t wait until I can sit on my front porch, hopefully near a dock/viewing area of the beach and sip on a coke. Yeah, yeah – I know – no fancy drink. haha. I’d prefer a Coke – sue me!

Oh How My Woman Loves Chocolate

So, let’s get this out in the clear – my lady loves some chocolate. Like, seriously. I think she might have a mini addiction, though, don’t let her know I said that…hah

Anyway, I’ve been trying to plan a fantastic holiday for my girlfriend and I think it’s going to start off with some beautiful valentines day flowers. I’ll have them sent to her work and then to shock her, send another a few hours later and then ANOTHER to the house when she gets home. You might be thinking that’ll be a bit expensive, but, with 1800 Flowers, it’ll be cheap. Their quality and fast shipping is awesome (I’ve ordered from them before, if you haven’t figured that out…haha) but most importantly, they have fantastic prices for the amount of flowers you get along with the previously mentioned high quality.

I think I’ll make her some dinner and just stay in – exchange presents and just spend the evening together. I’d go out, but, everything is SO busy that night…I think she’ll enjoy it more if we stay in.

Oh – and you know I’m getting chocolate with every order of flowers…haha…bonus points!

Caskets Are Part Of Life

Let’s be real for a second here – there are just some things in life that are difficult to talk about. One of them, is death. It’s a tragic and stressful time, but one thing I’ve never understood is why people make it harder on themselves than it already is going to be. Why not be open about it and make arrangements prior to the situation (assuming one can)? If you know the inevitable is coming, then you need to begin your search for Wood Caskets.
