Why do some people desire to become millionaires?
Why do some people hate the government?
And why do some people enjoy a bizarre type of art?
People see or understand things differently. Our upbringing, culture, family — and a lot of factors — influence the way we view life in general.
The challenge isn’t about not knowing why others think that way.
The real challenge, instead, is how to see others’ point of views and how to quickly switch from our own lens to theirs when necessary.
It takes a lot of effort. But it surely is worth practicing.
Real connection happens once we understand others’ perspectives.
